A. The Conference venue is the beautiful Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Cambridge St Glasgow, Scotland, UK
A. Friday the 26th runs 9.30 am until 5 pm
Saturday 27th runs 9.30am until 4.30 pm A. We are happy to welcome anyone that has a real interest in pregnancy, childbirth, maternity services, midwifery, families, health and wellbeing. Although the majority of our delegates are midwives and student midwives we promote shared learning that benefits us all regardless of our role or profession.

Q. How much are delegate tickets?
|
A. Delegate Tickets are *£180 (GBP). This includes two amazing conference days and all catering. *This represents £90 per day inclusive of education & updating, entertainment, a great exhibition, interactive skills stations, delegate bags, 12 CPD hours that can be used for re-validation, arrival, morning and afternoon refreshments as well as a delicious lunch. This represents incredible value for money for every delegate.

Q. Can I pay for my ticket with instalments?
Q. Do we offer student discounts on the ticket cost?

A. Yes you can! Instalments of *£50 per month for 4 months can be made. See the conference booking page to set up your plan. *We are charged additional payment processing fees by PayPal in order to provide this option to delegates. the payment plan price includes these costs
A. No we dont. It costs us the same for each delegate in terms of venue hire, speakers costs, catering, av. etc.. If we offer student discounts in effect the full price delegates are subsidising student attendance. We do not believe this creates equity in provision of the conference for all delegates as many people that are not students are on a tight budget or low income.

Q. Do we offer group booking discounts or accept block bookings?

Q. Is travel and/or accommodation included in the delegate ticket price?
Q. Is the evening awards and dinner dance ticket included in the conference costs?

A. No travel or accommodation is included in the delegate ticket price.
A. The evening awards and dinner dance is not included in the conference costs. Separate tickets for this can be purchased from us. You are welcome to bring friends and family to the evening event if you have purchased tickets for them

Q. Can children attend the conference?
|
A. Babies aged *under 12 months are welcome, however children over 12 months old cannot attend any part of the event. If you are bringing your baby please be considerate of others learning experience and take them out of the room if they need more attention. *We will do our best to support you in making sure you, your baby and other delegates have a great time. Please just ask us if we can be of any help or if you have additional needs for your little one

Q. Can I order a specialised diet for the conference?
|
A. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options will be available during lunch, as will fruit during breaks. Unfortunately we can not cater kosher, halal or any other specific diets. *if you have a known allergy to specific foods please inform us via email and on your booking form prior to attending the event.

Q. Do we accept sponsorship from other organisations?
|
A. Yes we do. However we do not accept or allow to exhibit any formula milk companies or other commercial ventures that may undermine the health and wellbeing of mothers, babies or families.

Q. Is MaMa Conference an inclusive event?
|
A. Yes it is. We encourage participation and attendance from all sections of society regardless of race, sex or sexual orientation. We strive to include marginalised and under represented groups in the programme and welcome suggestions on how we can improve.
