Our panel are qualified to judge by virtue of their personal, professional and academic excellence. Their skills and knowledge are drawn from a broad variety of sectors, backgrounds and personal origins.
We understand that a failure to dip into an ever-growing talent pool of diverse, well-educated and ambitious individuals would run the risk of limiting not just ourselves, but of creating a situation where bias could become a factor. In the case for the 2019 awards we believe there to be no issue with bias, however, because we do value diversity and strive to be inclusive we would like to invite dialogue with those who believe their suggestions may improve how the judges and those shortlisted are even more representative of the whole community.
Please do contact us if you would like to do so.
Sincerely,
Mama Conference Team
